Daphne Lingon is one the most experienced and trusted names in the jewelry business. During her storied three-decade career at Christie's New York, she served as head of the Americas for the jewelry department and was responsible for the consignment and appraisal of some of the most important private collections. Career highlights include the collections of the Blair Family, Noreen Stonor Drexel, Ann Getty, Peggy and David Rockefeller, Anne Eisenhower, and the Rothschild Family. In 2011, Daphne was one of the principal specialists working on the sale of Elizabeth Taylor's astounding collection, one of the most important jewelry events of all time. A GIA Graduate Gemologist, she has been widely interviewed for major publications and has lectured across the country. In 2023, Daphne left Christie's and moved to the Charleston, SC area to establish herself as an independent advisor, and is a Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA), which indicates the highest level.
